Two thousand members of Iran’s Dervish Gonabadi community issued a letter to the United Nations and human rights organizations to condemn crimes committed by the Iranian regime against the Dervish community.
This letter reads in part, “It has been years that we are expelled from our jobs under various excuses and as requested by various security entities, and our places of worship are set ablaze and destroyed by bulldozers. Today, nine Dervish community members on hunger strike published their will. Therefore, we are asking you to be the voice of these innocent people and condemn the cruel.”
