"Without doubt, the social situation today is not desirable to any one of us... Long-term oppression and injustice will destroy the society,
" said Soheila Jelodarzadeh, former Majlis deputy and head of the National Union of Female Workers.
With Iran's parliamentary election upcoming in March, various ruling factions have already started assailing one another to win seats in the next parliament, so one hears facts and news that are not disclosed otherwise.
Jelodarzadeh also noted the widening social gap in the country and asserted, "At least 20 people come to me every day, asking for jobs while most of them are skilled and have university education."
She also revealed that Iranian workers earn only 700,000 toumans per month, while their monthly expenditure exceeds several million toumans.
