Following the Iranian Resistance’s call for an investigation into the torture and murder in custody of Iranian blogger Sattar Beheshti in by the Iranian regime’s henchmen, Mohammad Mohadessin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the National Council of Resistance of Iran participated in an interview with Iran National Television stressing the mullahs’ senior officials must be prosecuted for this crime against humanity, adding Khamenei is the main element responsible for this atrocity.
“The truth is that the clerical regime, its repressive apparatus and this regime’s killing machine has tortured to death hundreds of PMOI members, activists and political prisoners throughout Iran,” Mohadessin said.
“Regarding Sattar Beheshti, the facts are very clear. Specific officials of the regime’s repressive forces killed him under torture. A system is behind such crimes in Iran, all of them responsible in this murder and they must all be prosecuted. Khamenei is the commander of all military and security forces in Iran, and the interior minister is a criminal appointed by Khamenei as head of the police,” he added.
“Khamenei is also responsible for the murder of hundreds of thousands of people killed in Iran. When we talk about Sattar Beheshti, again Khamenei is the first person behind this murder and the first person responsible for this murder,” Mohadessin continued.
“Our compatriots inside Iran should know we must never neglect the fact that the mullahs’ officials involved in these murders must be prosecuted and brought to justice. We must follow up on these cases and soon all these criminals will be held accountable,” he said.
