NCRI - Iranian regime henchmen hanged Kurdish political prisoner Shirkh Moarefi, 33, on Monday in a prison in the western city of Saqqez.
Shirko Moarefi, from city of Baneh in Kurdistan was arrested in October 2008 and imprisoned by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in Saqqez.
After a long period of interrogation and torture, he was sentenced to death for “acting against the national security” and “waging war against God,” without going through any proper legal procedure.
Agents of MOIS threatened his family and prevented them from holding any protest or publicizing his case.
