NCRI – A prisoner was hanged in northern Iranian the city of Rasht, the judiciary in Gilan province has announced.
The 43-year-old man had been arrested and sentenced to death on drug related charges.
The website of the Gilan province’s judiciary said the man was hanged in the city’s main prison on Sunday.
Since Hassan Rouhani has become president over 1200 prisoners have been executed in Iran.
