Iranian suppressive security guards overseeing the observance of Islamic codes of conduct by youth entered the Gholhak subway station on Monday Feb. 9th harassing a number of youth for mixing girls and boys. The annoying action by the Basij militants to separate the male from the female passengers who were waiting for the train to come, prompted anger and frustration amongst the youth which led to scuffle between them and the paramilitary forces. Finally the Basij agents had to leave the station giving another victory to the brave and defiant youth.
