NCRI - Wardens of Iran’s notorious Gohardasht (Rajai-shahr) Prison, in Karaj, north-west of Tehran, raided Ward 12 at 13:00 local time on Monday, according to news sources inside of Iran.
The ward houses political prisoners opposed to the mullahs’ regime.
During the raid, the wardens conducted body searches of the prisoners and used devices to search the whole ward.
Subsequently they moved all the prisoners from the hall of the ward and savagely rummaged through all their belongings, much of which they destroyed.
The political prisoners repeatedly chanted “Down with Velayat-e-faqih (absolute rule of clergy)” and “Down with dictator” throughout the snap inspection.
