If we are negligent, we would have four-digit deaths. Negligence in this period means losing. So, if anyone violates (the regulations), we must not show mercy. Anyone could be a viral bomb because today the virus can spread to 10 people and the illness has spread to families.”

Abdulreza Rahmani Fazli, the Interior Minister told State TV today, “We are not deciding between good and bad. We are deciding between bad and worse. All of us must know this. Because, on the other hand, we have a high human toll, high economic toll, high social toll. Therefore, we are compelled to make a decision, between bad and worse, or in reality between worst and worst. Any decision we make will have a toll. In other words, decisions do not come without a cost.”
