Prisoners beaten in ward 350 of Tehran’s Evin Prison: report

On the morning of Thursday, April 17th, ward 350 of Evin Prison was viciously attacked by the Iranian regime’s forces. Over 100 elements of the Revolutionary Guards, Ministry of Intelligence and prison guards had taken part in this raid, incoming reports indicate.
Many inmates have suffered bleeding, broken heads, ribs and other bones; torn blood veins; and at least four political prisoners were severely wounded and transferred to hospitals outside of the prison, reports indicate.
Following this vicious attack, the regime’s henchmen beat and transferred a number of inmates to solitary confinement. According to reports, Colonel Amanian, chief of all Tehran prisons, and Ghobadi, head of Evin Prison security, were the main perpetrators of this attack.
