Iran: political prisoner Rahim Rashi in critical conditions

Kurdish Political prisoner Rahim Rashi, detained in Mahabad Central Prison in western Iran, is currently suffering from kidney illnesses and has raised concerns over his health. To this day prison officials in Mahabad have not provided any convincing reason for keeping him behind bars.
Rashi has been transferred to the hospital twice so far and has been in a state of limbo for three months now.
This Iranian Kurd was arrested by security forces in Mahabad on 22 February 2014 and transferred to this central prison after 11 days. He is 66 years old and was arrested once before back in 2010.
