Over 500 workers of the Dashtestan Cement Factory in Bushehr rallied on Sunday, May 18th and clashed with the regime’s repressive police intending to force them to end their strike.
The regime’s repressive agents attacked the striking workers surpassing their 18th day of strike, severely beating and arresting many of them.
The Dashtestan Cement Company workers went on strike May 5th protesting their employment statuses being changed in their contracts, leaving them deprived of their legal pensions and also protesting not receiving their already delayed demands responded to.
