Prisoners Shirin Alam-Hoei, Farzad Kamangir, Ali Heydarian and Farhad Vakili were hanged on 9 May 2010
The families of four Kurdish political prisoners tortured and executed four years ago are demanding to know where the Iranian regime has buried their loved ones.
Prisoners Shirin Alam-Hoei, Farzad Kamangir, Ali Heydarian and Farhad Vakili were hanged on May 9, 2000, after years of imprisonment, solitary confinement and physical abuse.
Their families are now appealing to international organizations to urge the Iranian authorities to reveal where they have been buried.
It is the usual policy of the regime to impose further torture on the families of executed political prisoners by not releasing their bodies or revealing where they have been buried, so that families are unable to hold funerals for them.
