Tehran – Tradespeople and shoppers prevented arrestment of vendors by agents

Iranian regime security agents tried to arrest 2 vendors in Joumhouri Street on Friday, April 17, but were stopped by tradespeople and shoppers who were witnessing the scene. The people circled the agents and prevented the arrestment of the vendors. The security agents, who saw angry people surrounding them, and their will to defend the vendors, had no choice but to leave the area fearing harsh reprisal from the people.
