According to human rights activists reporting from Iran, 5 prisoners condemned to death were hanged on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in Adel-Abad prison, Shiraz, southern Iran.
One of these prisoners has been identified as Mehdi Keshavarz, but the identities of the rest of the prisoners are not announced. Iran’s official sources or the government circles in-charge of prison or execution have not responded to the inquiry about the identities of the rest of hanged men.
An unconfirmed report reveals that one of the prisoners was only 18 years old at the time of execution which means he must have been a juvenile at the time of offence.
