Iran: worker “family baskets” priced at $925, wages merely $200

The latest monthly cost for a worker’s family has reached $925 a month, known as “family baskets”, said a regime official on Tuesday.
“$925 is for families living in city outskirts, while those living in the capital and major cities across Iran are facing even higher prices,” Gholamreza Abbasi as his remarks were being wired by the state-run ISNA news agency.
This official said last year workers’ families had to spend around $635 a month. It is worth noting that minimum wage for a worker is merely $200 a month.
