The city of Isfahan in Iran witnessed major protests that received coverage by Al Arabiya TV. These protests quickly turned political as demonstrators began condemning Iran’s meddling in Syria.
This is the first time that Iranian citizens have called on their officials to stop their meddling in Syria and instead focus on the Iranian people’s economic problems. These protesters were demanding their paychecks that had been delayed for the past three months.
