Chant in Gohardasht Prison: “Set fire to the principle of velayat-e faqih”

Pictures of Khamenei and Rouhani, hateful leaders of clerical regime, set on fire

Resourceful political prisoners in Gohardasht (Rajai Shahr) Prison held a Fire Festival ceremony on Tuesday under the surveillance of suppressive elements in this prison. Along with the people throughout Iran they chanted “set fire to the ward and to handcuffs”, “set fire to tyranny”, “set fire to a regime of ill faith”, “set fire more than before”, and “set fire to the principle of velayat (clerical rule)” while jumping over a bonfire.

In Tehran, a group of the youths gathered in Mellat Park to celebrate the Fire Festival and chanted anti-government slogans. As soon as they began their slogans, units of Special Forces were dispatched to the place.

Similarly, in Tajrish, a group of people chanted “death to Khamenei”, “death to the principle of velayat-e faqih” and “death to Rouhani” as they jumped over the bonfires. The sound of firecrackers and sonic grenades was abundant.

Another group of youths in Tehran set pictures of Khomeini, the founder of the velayat-e faqih system, and Khamenei, the supreme leader of this oppressive regime, on fire during the Fire Festival at Milad Tower.

In a section of the ‘Falakeh Aval’ of Tehranpars, courageous youths set pictures of Khamenei and Rouhani ablaze to symbolize discarding of the entire religious fascist regime ruling Iran.

In Bandar Anzali, balloons with the slogans “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to Khomeini” written on them were sent up in the sky.
