Thousands of Syrian refuges stuck at the Turkish-Syrian borders have gone on hunger strike to protest the international inaction about their plight. The refuges complain about lack of food and other necessities for themselves and their children.
Activists say that there are nearly 140,000 refugees living in one camp near the Turkish border. These refugees are calling on the international organizations to provide warm clothes and other needs for their winter period. They are saying that the bitter cold weather is lashing on most vulnerable, including children and elderlies. According to activists this cold front has brought one child to his death.
The hunger strike started since last Monday.
