Maryam Rajavi praised for 'courageous opposition' to Iran regime state terrorism

The former head of France's domestic intelligence agency has praised Iranian Resistance leader Maryam Rajavi for her courageous stance against the state-sponsored terrorism perpetrated by Iran.
State terrorism was the most dangerous form of its kind, and used by the regime in Tehran to wage violence outside its borders, Yves Bonnet told a conference in Paris.
He said in a speech: "It is first important to strongly denounce the terrorism of organizations, whatever their motivation. But but there is another form of terrorism that rarely speak of and which is much more dangerous, and that is state terrorism.
"It is much more dangerous to see states use their strength to wage violence outside their borders. This state terrorism is the most dangerous of all."
And he told the Iranian Resistance leader: "This fight you lead, Madame Rajavi, with activists, almost alone against a heavily armed state, with diplomacy, resources and various pressure tactics. And you pitch yourself against this with a courage that I personally admire deeply."
Speaking in the wake of the Paris terror attacks, he added: "Today is the day to pay tribute to people who spoke their minds with courage and conviction.
"But we must make an even more glowing tribute to those who have been fighting for decades. It must be our tribute to all forms of resistance."
Mr Bonnet also called for inter-religious dialogue with all Muslims, adding:"
"Secularism alone is not sufficient. It may be sufficient for the majority of the nation, but if we want to make a much greater contribution, let's get this essential, inevitable and much desired dialogue with all other religions."
A number of political figures participated in the conference offered speeches in Sundays gathering. Among them: Sid Ahmed Ghozali, former Prime Minister of Algeria; Jean-Pierre Béquet, member of Val d’Oise provincial council; Anissa Boumediene, Islamic scholar, jurist and former First Lady of Algeria; as well as legislators from various European countries, including Dominique Lefebvre from France, Senator Antonio Razzi from Italy, Edidijus Vareikis from Lithuania, Senator Kees De Lange from Netherlands, Stanislav Polcak from the European parliament, Peter Mathews from Ireland, Ardelean Ben Oni from Romania; along with a number of French mayors, including Jean-Pierre Muller and Sylvie Fassier; and personalities such as Bishop Jacques Gaillot from France, Dr. Taissir Al-Tamimi, former Chief Justice of Palestine; Paulo Casaca, former member of European parliament; Gilles Paruelle, former head of bar association in Val d’Oise; and Khalil Meroun, Head of d'Evry Mosque.
