Iran: Political prisoners condemn Paris terror attacks

A large number of political prisoners in Gohardasht prison in the city of Karaj, Iran, released a statement condemning the terrorist acts of the last few days in France, and expressed their sympathy with French people, especially the victims.
The prisoners said the “fundamentalist terrorists’ war against innocent people” and democratic values were brought from the region into the streets of Paris against French citizens.”
“This ominous phenomenon was founded since 35 years ago by the Iranian state terrorism. Multiple bombings in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Argentina and assassination of dissidents and opponents around the world, especially in Europe, are among the known methods of fundamentalism and state terrorism in recent years.”
“If the civilized world had confronted this ominous phenomenon when the ruling mullahs in Iran were promoting state terrorism and particularly when Khomeini issued the fatwa for killing Salman Rushdie in heart of Europe, the religious fundamentalism would not have expanded this much today in the Middle East.”
“Unfortunately, the Western governments, particularly the Europeans still do not want to accept that appeasement against organized state terrorism that has dominated Iran and the rest of the region, practically becomes a model for ISIS and other terrorist and fundamentalist groups like Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, the Taliban and Boko Haram, and Shiite IS alongside Sunni IS will destabilize the world.”
“We offer our condolences to the families of the victims and wish the quick victory of the French government and the great French nation against cruel terrorists. We must emphasize:
If the Iranian people was not facing brutal suppression of the ruling fundamentalism, undoubtedly it would have shown its disgust against terrorism and its sympathy with the French people by widespread demonstrations in public places. We still hope that brave, sensible and knowledgeable young people show their solidarity with the civilized world in any way they can and prove that in these difficult days, they are with the French nation and families of the victims of these brutal assassinations.”
