Poverty grabs more women in Iran

Hormozgan Relief Committee Director General said in a press conference, “Currently there are 57,000 families in need of aid in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran. Women are the caretakers and breadwinners of 33,000 of these families.”
“The latest rate of divorce in this province has increased 14%. Of the 57,000 families the homes of 6,200 homes are in very poor conditions,” he added.
“One can say there is no means to live in such a facility.”
