Tehran:
The mullahs’ regime has taken new measures to further pressure political prisoners and harass them by appointing one of its renowned torturers as head of Tehran’s Evin Prison ward 350 where political prisoners are held. According to reports obtained from inside Iran, from the beginning of the Iranian New Year (March 21st), a regime agent by the name of Momeni – previously posted as Evin’s deputy warden – has currently been appointed as head of ward 350. The regime intends to further torture and harass political prisoners through such measures.
Tehran:
The mullahs’ regime has prevented the transfer of political prisoner Behnam Ibrhaimzadeh to a hospital and thus depriving him of surgery. To impose further pressure on this political prisoner they have also barred his family from meeting with their loved one in person, especially Ibrahimzadeh’s ill child who is suffering from cancer and must undergo chemotherapy.
Tehran:
Families of Sunni political prisoners declared their loved ones who are on death row have been deprived of choosing their own lawyers. The lawyers of political prisoners have informed the families that Mohammad Moghise, head of Tehran’s Branch 28 court, is not allowing lawyers defend their clients on this pretext that their cases are classified.
Evin Prison (Tehran):
Evin Prison torturers have transferred political prisoner Mohammad Ibrahimi detained in ward 8 to the Revolutionary Guards ward in this prison for further interrogation and torture. The regime’s henchmen have launched another case against this prisoner, accusing him of propaganda against the state. This political prisoner is continuously under inhumane pressures imposed by the regime’s intelligence apparatus.
