Hot water has been cut off in ward 4 - hall 12 in Gohardasht Prison, Karaj, west of Tehran during recent days. This is the section where political prisoners are held in this facility. To this day no action has been taken to reconstruct the hot water pipes.
In early fall of 2015 prison officials refused to purchase necessary diesel fuel, leading to lack of hot water for the prisoners back then, too.
