Iran: Detectives stationed in women’s buses

The news was announced on March 2, 2016 by the State Security Force of Isfahan.
Kazemi Taba, deputy director of the Bus Driving Organization in Isfahan’s Municipality justified this measure by saying that purse-snatching has increased in the women’s sections in the inter-city buses. Therefore, 10 groups of female detectives are going to be stationed in the women’s section in inter-city buses until the problem is resolved.
It should be noted that buses are gender-segregated in Iran.
