Iran: Call to save lives of 4 Kurdish political prisoners

                      Urumieh Central Prison

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international bodies and human rights organs, especially the United NationsSecretary-General, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Special Rapporteurs on arbitrary arrests, torture and execution, and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran to take urgent action to save the lives of four Kurdish political prisoners who are threatened by imminent execution in Urumiyeh’s central prison.
Two brothers by the names of Ali Afshari, 34, and Habib Afshari, 26; Mohammad Abdollahi, 35; and Mostafa Salimi are the four Kurdish political prisoners whose execution verdicts has been approved and sent to be carried out to the pertinent department  by regime’s Supreme Court on the charge of Moharebeh by propaganda activities and membership in opposition Kurdish parties.
Afsahri brothers who are from one of the villages around the city of Mahabad were arrested by the intelligence agents of the revolutionary guards in 2011. They are on hunger strike since April 23 to protest this tyrannical sentence. Mostafa Salimi, from the city of Mahabad, is father to one child and is suffering of acute renal infection in kidneys, backache, ache in the lower limbs, and visionary problems, but has been deprived from least medical treatment.
