Iranian regime refusing medical treatment, surgery for pol prisoner in Minab

               Political prisoner Afshin Sohrabzadeh
Iranian regime authorities in Minab Prison are denying medical treatment and surgery for political prisoner Afshin Sohrabzadeh, who has been suffering from serious physical conditions for the past two years due to torture of Ministry of Intelligence agents during the first period of this detention.
Afshin Sohrabzadeh, 24, is a resident of Kermanshah in western Iran, has suffered internal bleeding in his intestines due to torture, has gone to the prison clinic many times and the prison clinic has told him they are not able to treat him there and he must be transferred to a hospital outside of the prison to undergo surgery. However, despite Sohrabzadeh’s major pains, the prison authorities are refusing to transfer him to a hospital.
Afshin Sohrabzadeh was arrested in Kamiyaran back in 8 December 2009 and was sentenced to 25 years in exile in Minab. This prisoner once attempted suicide on 2 July 2012 protesting the inhumane conditions in Minab Prison and being exiled from Sanandaj Prison to Minab.
