Political and common prisoners in Gohardasht prison have uncovered and revealed the identity of a torturer in that prison. His name is Davoud Amini-poor. In a letter from one of the prisoners, Amini poor started first to work part time in the prison as an electric technician. But after a while he presented himself through his vicious actions and behaviors which attracted the guards’ attention. As the time went by his obedience towards his prison masters and his willingness to carry out harsh treatment against prisoners including torture, he became one of them and was formally hired. His first duty as a torturer was as 'Pasdar-band' which is referred to those who are directly involved with the prisoners. After a few years he was promoted to ’Ward master’ and is now working in that position.
