Iran: Hilarious accusation of “trying to overthrow regime” brought against a mother of a two years old toddler

British-Iranian woman accused of bid to overthrow regime of Iran

Iran fundamentalist and dictatorial regime of the mullahs which is grappling with increasing problems both within the regime and in respect to the society and fearful of explosion of unrest and rage from its citizens, has been resorting wide state censorship and crackdown on reports and reporters who try to reflect a minimal portion of the abysmal problems it is facing with.
This regime arrests journalists, particularly Iranians who have dual citizenship and work for foreign companies, accusing them of bogus charges including “being involved or attempting to overthrow the regime.”
Back in April, the notorious Iran’ ministry of intelligence arrested Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a young Iranian-British mother of a two-year-old toddler who works for the Reuters news agency.
But hilariously on Wednesday, June 15, the mullahs’ judiciary issued her a sentence of being “involved in the soft overthrow of the Islamic Republic through... her membership in foreign companies and institutions,' according to Mizan news agency quoting a regional Guards branch in Iran.
Zaghari-Ratcliffe, 37, was arrested at Tehran airport on April 3 as she prepared to return to Britain with her daughter after visiting family in Iran, her husband told AFP last week.
According to the Guards, Zaghari-Ratcliffe was 'identified and arrested after massive intelligence operations' as one of 'the heads of foreign-linked hostile networks.'
Her husband said she was held in solitary confinement for 45 days.
Britain's Foreign Office has said it has raised the case 'repeatedly and at the highest levels' and will continue to do so at 'every available opportunity'.
