Urgent: Iranian political prisoner on hunger strike unconscious


Iran political prisoner on his 60th day of hunger strike
Urgent reports received Monday June 27, 2016 show that Iranian political prisoner, Jafar Azimzadeh on his 60th day hunger strike is unconscious. He fell down while walking and lost consciousness. 
Mr. Azimzadeh was in a clinic at the time and was transferred to his bed with the help of his wife and a number of prison guards around him. The doctors on hand rushed to his bed and following preliminary works he was able to regain consciousness. But was ordered to remain in bed at all times. 
Azimzadeh has been kept alive only with the aid of IVs for past 9 days. He is suffering from bleeding intestine and severe cramps and stomach pain. His sugar level, pulse and blood pressure has dropped drastically which attributed to his weakness and subsequent loss of consciousness. Doctors have said and are insisting that if he does not end his hunger strike immediately, he would go on coma.
