Internet connection disrupted in a number of cities in Iran

                  
Internet connection is disrupted in several cities in the southern province of Khuzestan in Iran and there is no word on when the services will be restored.
"Several service providers in the city of Ahwaz have reported disruption in Internet connections provided by the state-run supplier but no information has been provided on when the service will be restored," state-run news agency Iran reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, an official at Tehran's Institute of Technology revealed that the Iranian internet user are accessing 12 times less bandwidth compared to last year.
"During the past year the authorities have doubled the country's Internet bandwidth but since the usage has increased 25 times more the actual bandwidth available to online users has reduced to 12 times less compared to the last year," Ali Akbar Jalali told a state-run news agency on Monday.
