Further reports of clashes & protest in Iran

        More and more protest gatherings reported from inside Iran

Tehran
Residents of Yaft Abad district clashed with water department agents on Monday, September 8th, who intended to cut-off water to this area. The angry local threw stones in attacking the agents who intended to cut-off this region’s water under the pretext of water shortages.
Karaj
A group of railway workers in this rallied on Monday, September 8th, protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past two months.
Tehran
A number of families of Ghazvin glass company workers rallied on Monday, September 8th, protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past 3 months.
Aslaviya – Bushehr Province
Workers of phase 15 and 16 of the South Pars gas project rallied for the third time on Sunday, September 7th, protesting their delayed paychecks and not receiving their insurance pensions. The protesting workers blocked a road for many hours.
Khoram Abad
Three youths selling fish in this city clashed with repressive police on Saturday, September 6th, attacking them with knives and other similar weapons. The terrified agents, who intended to round up the youths’ goods, fled the scene.
Doroud
A number of people in this town rallied on Saturday, September 6th, forming a human chain alongside the river of this city and protesting the regime officials’ negligence regarding contamination in these waters. Protesters are saying this contamination has led to various illnesses amongst the locals.
Isfahan
Workers of the textile company went on strike on Sunday, September 7th, protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past 3 months.
