Iran; 12 inmates of Gohardash Prison transferred to the solitary for imminent execution


Transferred to the solitary for imminent execution

The clerical regime prison authorities have transferred on Monday, Jan. 18th, 12 death row prisoners in Gohardasht Prison, in the city of Karaj, west of Tehran for imminent executions. 
These same prisoners were transferred once before to the solitary 10 days ago on Jan, 9th, but for some unknown reason their execution was postponed and were returned back to their cells. The manes of those who have so far been identified are: Hossein Moini, Naser Karim-Nejad, Mehdi-Kaheh, Reza Taymoori, Javad Sadeghi, Ebad Mohammadi, Mostafa Ejlali, Sajjad Naamati and another who has been identified only by his first name, Anoosh. 
The National Council of Resistance of Iran in a statement issued Saturday, Jan. 16th cited the increasing number of executions in Iran saying:
”The antihuman Iranian regime that closed its infamous dossier for 2015 with over one thousand executions has begun the New Year by ramping up executions throughout the country such that in just the first two weeks of this year 52 executions have been registered.”
