Two ethnic minority Baluchis who arrested while in their juvenile years, were executed in Yazd Central Prison located in the central part of Iran. Khaled Kurdi and Moslem Abarian were hanged on Monday, January 25 on drug-related charges.
“These prisoners had been arrested 7 years ago at the age of 13 in the city of Yazd,” an informed source said.
“These two prisoner were innocent and when they had gone to Yazd seeking a job another individual placed narcotics underneath their feat in a bus. Their charges were not even accepted in the court hearings. These two prisoners were hanged before their families were informed. Death sentences for 18 other Baluchi minorities in Yazd prison have been issued,” he added.
