Iran: Threat of execution looms over 4 Balouch prisoners


Crackdown minority Baluch in Iran

Four ethnic minority Baluch prisoners held in Zahedan Central Prison were returned to their ward after suddenly being transferred to the solitary confinement for immediate execution.
Molavi Nouredin Kashani, Sadegh Rigi, Jamsheed Dehvari and Mohammad Sarani are the names of these four prisoners.
Kashani has been condemned to execution on the charge of measures against national security. This 45-year-old cleric is amongst the Sunni clerics of Sistan & Baluchistan Province in southeastern Iran.
The remaining three were sentenced to death on the charge of murder.
