Former US vice president Dick Cheney stresses on the military option in the face of Iran’s nuclear threat.
Obama has pursued the weakest international policy in US history during his presidency, he said in an interview Lincoln Journal Star. US’ close friends have not trust in Washington anymore and no trust in the current government; they are deeply worried that they can’t count on the US as they could in the past and our rivals no longer fear us, he added.
To prevent Iran obtaining nuclear weapons capability the US must be ready to use military force, Cheney stipulated. This option must remain on the table, he added, saying what has been seen is not encouraging, stipulating it appears their first step was setting aside any possibility of a military option and this will immediately weaken any diplomacy effort.
