        Student protests increasing across Iran universities

Shahr-e Kord: University student protest
More than 500 non-local students at Shahr-e Kord Open University staged a protest gathering at 8AM Thursday to demand the renovation and maintenance of the female dormitory.
Tehran: government retired workers’ protest
A group of government retired workers gathered in front of Social Security Office on Saturday to protest the unpaid pension and wages. The social security office is located at Azadi blvd in Tehran.
Isfahan: protest against the water cut off
Residents of Zarrin-Shahr, north of Isfahan on Thursday gathered outside the water sanitation dept. calling on the authorities to end their unfair policy of disconnecting water under the pretext of over usage.
Karaj: strike by street cleaners
A group of Karaj street cleaners on the government payroll went on strike on Thursday protesting unpaid wages and overtime benefits. The gathering took place outside Karaj city hall.
