NCRI – An effective U.S. strategy for fighting extremists in the Middle East must include a coalition of moderate forces in the region including those fighting against ruling mullahs in Iran, said Alireza Jafarzadeh of the National Council of Resistance of Iran on Bloomberg TV’s Smart Smart on Thursday.
Mr. Jafarzadeh U.S. should not only support moderate Syrian opposition but also needs to stand on the side of moderate Sunnis in Iraq and the Iranian opposition who has being the brutal rule of mullahs in Iran.
Jafarzadeh reminded that In the case of Iraq, it was the Iranian regime’s support for Nouri al-Maliki that caused the rise of extremists in the country.
“In the case of Iran, the United States need to stand on the side of the Iranian opposition, those who have been fighting the mullahs, and those who have exposed all the major nuclear site of the Iranian regime,” he said.
