Urgent: Mr. Kazemeini Boroujerdi is being held in the solitary prior to being executed

                   

According to Ayatollah Kazemeini Boroujerdi’s family when they tried to visit him at the notorious Evin prison, they found out that he was transferred to the solitary and was not allowed to have any visitors. After hours of protest and insistence that they would not leave before visiting him, they were granted a few minutes of visit where they learned that he was transferred to the solitary, a step before execution. They said he had become very frail and weak. Mr. Boroujerdi had told his family during this 15 minutes visit that he is being kept with handcuffs and shackles and was being tortured. He was very concern about his family’s security since he thought that their lives were also in danger. 
Mr. Boroujerdi’s family is calling on all international human rights organizations and international bodies to urgently take action to prevent his execution.
