Nazok Afshar, former Iranian employee of the French embassy in Tehran, was arrested Saturday, March 12 at an airport upon entering the country and transferred to Evin Prison .
Afshar was arrested while she had departed Iran without any legal bans.
She was visiting Iran to see her ill mother, whom physicians have lost any hope of recovering. Afshar, herself in distress from a special illness, suffered hysteria today outside of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, went unconscious and fell to the ground. She has been on leave due to this very illness.
