According to an exclusive report from the Central Prison in the City of Gorgan, northeastern Iran, a prisoner was hanged last Sunday, February 21 simply for drug charges. The identity of the individual has been announced as 52-year old Morad Ali Rajablu.
This is despite repeated calls from international human rights org. that killing a prisoner just for having a small amount of drugs is not justified and must not be carried out.
