A civil and social activist is on hunger strike in ward 7 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. Authorities refusing to provide , Saeed Hosseinzadeh any medical leave, turning down forensics’ orders of this prisoner not being able to tolerate his sentence and lack of any adequate medical care are amongst the reasons he is currently on hunger strike. Hosseinzadeh was arrested by Revolutionary Guards members at his home in September 2014 and immediately transferred to ward 2A of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison.
