Metro workers rallying in Ahvaz, southwest Iran

Expelled workers of the Ahvaz metro in southwest Iran rallied on Saturday, February 27th outside the Iranian regime’s governorate office in Khuzestan Province and demanded their unemployment insurance problems be resolved.
“Around 390 workers were expelled from their jobs in the past few months… it has been around 3 months that these workers have not received their unemployment insurance,” a protesting worker said.
It is worth noting that these workers have staged 11 rallies to this day for not receiving their paychecks. This company has more than 600 workers, of which 300 have been expelled from March 20 15 onward.
