Tehran’s famous ski resort of Darbandsar, some 35 kilometers north of the capital, is the second highest mountain in Iran. On weekends this ski resort becomes one of the favorite site for many Iranians and it is only an hour drive from the capital. Men and women are seen playing winter sports.
The state-run Asr-e Iran news agency in this regard reported the presence of female members of the Moral Police to control and impose pressure on women and youth in this area. A picture of these agents has also been posted.
