At 8 am in the morning on Sunday, February 28th, Karaj Azad (Free) University, located west of Tehran in Iran, staged a rally against Bassij paramilitary agents and chanted slogans demanding the release of all political prisoners.
Campus officials quickly deployed the police in an effort to disperse the crowd. However, the students would not leave the site until the Bassij were forced to tear down their banners.
