Tehran Criminal Court has issued sentences for 18 civil activists including jail terms and lashes during the past few days. Six of these individuals are women.
Each of the 6 defendants have been sentenced to 91 days in jail and 74 lashes.
The names of these individuals are Seemeen Ayuzi, Khadije (Leila) Ghafari, Azam Najafi, Parvin Suleimani, Shermin Yamani and Sara Saedi. These civil activists were arrested on Saturday, November 21 during a peaceful rally outside Evin Prison .
