Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Exceeds 13,600 in 232 Cities The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran announced on March 29 that the death toll for Coronavirus has risen to 13,600 in 232 cities across Iran. While Coronavirus is taking more and more lives daily as a result of the clerical regime’s cover-up, lies and incompetence, On Sunday, regime’s president Hassan Rouhani shamelessly announced, “Security is a principle for us. All of our armed forces, border guards, and police are on the scene; if security is were to be undermined, it would be absolutely out of question.” There is widespread chaos within the regime. Mahmoud Sadeghi, a member of the parliament, said, “We are witnessing two governments and even no government in the country. We are witnessing the dangerous state of lacking a government.” Iran: Rebellion in Prisons Against Regime’s Criminal Conduct in Coronavirus On Saturday night prisoners in the Mahabad Central Prison rebelled and fled in protest against the mullahs’ mismanagement in dealing with the Coronavirus outbreak. The suppressive forces fired on prisoners, killing or wounding some prisoners, as parts of the prison were set on fire. The sound of gunshots and sirens was heard until well after the dark. Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran once again warned of a major catastrophe and crimes against humanity in Iranian prisons. She called for urgent action by the Secretary-General, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the European Union to take measures to secure the release of all prisoners, especially political prisoners to saving their lives. Iran: Defiant Youth Target Security Forces in Tehran Defiant youth in Tehran targeted a center of the suppressive forces in Tehran’s Sohrevardi Street on Saturday. This is while the regime’s security forces are on full alert to prevent the outbreak of any protest under the pretext of combating Coronavirus. The same day, defiant youth also set fire to one of the main centers of plunder of people’s wealth, Khomeini’s so-called Relief Committee in the city of Qom.
