The political silence that met it worried us all. But in times of difficulty we need hope. That is why we need to look forward to the future and see an end to the dictatorship which crushes hope in Iran. That is why I send my whole-hearted support and solidarity to Mrs Rajavi.'

'Your New Year is symbol of the beginning of spring, and Iran can symbolize the beginning of spring in international politics. Let us not to allow those who stand for appeasement to win. Iran’s new leadership is not moderate or liberal. We should have a realistic view on this terrorist dictatorship. And together we can overcome it.'
