Alireza Rasouli, a Kurdish political prisoner
Alireza Rasouli, a political prisoner in Urumia prison ended his 48th day of hunger strike on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Mr. Rasouli is suffering from a variety of illnesses and is being kept in a bad situation in the prison. The criminal regime henchmen do not allow him to receive his medication from outside and are not providing him with medicine proscribed to him by the prison clinic. According to reports from inside the prison and also from what his family is telling, his life is in danger.
The prison clinic had proscribed last month that he must be taken to an outside clinic and hospital for immediate treatments. But the prison authorities are denying him this and preventing him from receiving help from outside physicians.
