Iran: Ayatollah Kazemaini Boroujerdi’s heath is deteriorating

                    

According to reports, the health condition of Ayatollah Kazemaini Boroujerdi has worsened in recent days and weeks. He was admitted to the prison clinic on Friday 19 December suffering from severe back and limbs pain. The pain and complication were so severe that it almost paralyzed him inside his cell. He was transferred to the clinic via ambulance. The doctor said severe physical and psychological pressures are the cause of his problems and has resulted in neurotic shocks. Hi is also suffering from high diabetes. Lack of medication and proper treatments have contributed to his complicated case. 
Ayatollah Boroujerdi was previously diagnosed for kidney stone and heart palpitation and lung disease. Adding to all of these, the recent neurotic shocks have worsened his condition to an alarming extend.  
The family of Ayatollah Kazemaini Boroujerdi expressed worries over his health and asked all influential international and local organizations and institutions to pressure the Iranian regime’s authorities to transfer this political prisoner to a hospital outside the prison for medical care.
