Iraqi forces intensify pressures on Iranians in Camp Liberty in need of medical care

NCRI - The Iraqi force stationed in the camp near Baghdad International Airport that houses Iranian dissidents have prevented the entry of gasoline for a few vehicle used for transfer of the sick and wounded residents.
This is the third week that the Iraqi forces ate not allowing the small amount of gasoline purchased by the residents to enter the camp.
The residents basically use the vehicles to distribute food and to transport the sick and wounded and those who are unable to walk on gravel-covered walkways of the camp.
The latest measure is doubling the pressures on the resident particularly the sick and wounded in the camp that continues to be subject of logistical and medical siege.
On December 21 and 22, the Iraqi forces did not allow the interpreters to accompany four sick residents going to hospital in Baghdad. Due to long delay caused by Iraqi forces the patients returned from hospital without reaching any results.
Based on the repeated and written commitments of the US government and the United Nations with respect to the safety and security of Camp Liberty residents, the Iranian resistance demands immediate intervention to end the criminal siege of the camp and to allow gasoline enter the camp.
